expansion bottle sign red light coming on and off

hi guys

new to the forum hoping someone can shed some light on slight problem on my expert 1.9. 2002 plate the expansion bottle red light is coming on and off on my dash at intervals . checked water levels regular all seems ok. also changed the cap. temp gauge not going up and not loosing any water.

Assuming you have no airlocks, then it's likely a duff sensor.

big thanx. where do i buy a sensor and any ideas where it is situated on my expert.
