Hi, I am having problems with the drivers side sliding door on my 04 expert E7, it is not locking with the central locking at all. Anybody any ideals?

Sounds like a stuck or dead actuator
Do you hear any noises coming from the locking mechanism on that door when you try? If you do its possible the link rod may have become loose Keep us posted

Hi there is no noise coming from the door, I thought it could be the contacts.

Possibly that as well if water has gotten into it somehow
A good scrub of them and some WD will let us know if they are they problem

Hi I sorted the door it wasn't the contacts or the solenoid it was the catch on the body work that was loose, so thats tightened and all is fine, thanks for your help all.
