Made a bit of a cock-up,
I need a new clutch, but decided that I could still use my van for a little longer if I was to back-off the peddle stop, in so doing the clutch arm would press on the clutch plate a little heavier, however all that has happened is that the auto-adjuster has taken up the slack and I'm back to square one so now if I set the peddle stop back to its normal position I get no clutch at all. when I get the clutch done I will also have to get a new cable at a cost of £50+ plus fitting..... unless someone knows if it is possible to reset it. thanks for your help, and stop laughing ![]() forgot to say, van is a mk1 Expert 1.9td Last edited by trogg; 07-15-2011 at 02:18 PM.
