My radio has difficulty finding stations and can hardly function as a RDS radio, for example listening to Radio 2 whilst on a long journey the radio signal becomes weak and distorted before the radio goes to search for a better signal, this can take a long time and often a better signal can not be found, this is no roads i have traveled many times in other vehicles without problems.

The van is new, 6000 miles, the radio and aerial base have been replaced without any improvement, all connections are tight. I suspect the radio design is at fault any body had problems?
