Default Boxer 2.5 Fuel filter O-ring question

Hi,

I have a motorhome on a 1998 2.5 MWB Boxer chassis.
I have just replaced the fuel filter without problem. I have a question about what came with the filter. Apart from the upper and lower seals and the large O ring there were 2 small O rings about 4 and 5 mm across. I could not see an obvious place for these 2 O rings.
Can someone shed light on where they go.
The filter is a Motaquip VFF113, which is the split type with a bolt running down through from the top.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks, but no snap connectors on this vehicle. All bolts and washers.
