Hi All,
Just bought a peugeot partner 51 plate 1.9d van. I bought it to use as a work van, but is really hard to start on a morning. Any help would be much appreciated. Once its started its fine, and the colder it is the harder it is to start. Also its a bit coughy and spluttery when driving, especially when diesel is below a quarter full. If i fill it right up it seems to drive better. Any suggestions or ideas what i can check as cant really afford to put it in a garage. i'm just starting up on my own and on a budget, but am pretty handy. First thing i was going to check is glow plugs which could be cold start problem, but have no idea on the other problem! |

Not sure on these but may need wire gause or filter in fuel tank cleaning someone should know also starting problem could be temp sensor if its faulty can tell ecu engine is not cold.
