From what I've read on other post regarding this, the kick down pedal has extra wires going to the pedal so a bigger connector to accomodate them. This also means that if those extra wires aren't already there you would need to find out where they go to and fit them. For me that's just too much effort but I am biased as I don't see the need for the limiter. I just use cruise control and if t6he traffic is such that cruise isn't an option then I don't need the limiter anyway.

Can the stalk with both Cruise and Limit be used (Jan 14 Partner Tepee Outdoor), even if it only has Cruise? I'm only after Cruise but the price I paid for the stalk made it a no brainer, so the stalk offers both, but I don't know if my car has both - I'm only after Cruise though.

Will this work ok for Cruise and not have any impact on the car otherwise? I'm not looking to fool the car into thinking it has Speed Limit, if it doesn't have it, just wanting Cruise to work.
