Default 2003 Peugeot Expert Exhaust Problem ????

My 2003 Expert was recently serviced etc, but when I drive it and accelerate I get a sort of exhausty sound as if there is something wrong with the exhaust, I don't hear it at any other time, expecially when idling, revving the engine or just cruising - only when I press the accelerator when driving. Is this normal or do I have a problem somewhere ?

When I got it serviced they also said that the gearbox had little oil in it and it resulted in a worn bearing somewhere, but not serious. But again this sound just sounds like there is something wrong in the exhaust dept, but I'm no expert (pardon the pun).

Any suggestions ?

You could have a stuck EGR valve. Is it putting out any black smoke or using more fuel?

Have you checked to see if its the springs that are between f/pipe and manifold.Mines were worn,so the f/pipe moved a little when rocked, resulting in a noise.
