2003 Boxer minibus 290 LX SWB
Hello all, I am giving serious consideration to buying a 2003 Boxer minibus. Does anyone here have any advice/recommendations? I have a 1994 VW Caravelle but its a 2.4 diesel and the motor tax here in Ireland is killing me ( nearly 1000 euro). The Boxer is a 2.0 HDi and would "only" cost @ 600 euro to tax.

The 2003 should be OK, avoid the newer types. Reports say they are having serious reversing problems with Peugot saying there are no problems.
I have a 1997 model still runs like new. |

I changed my mind about the 03 one and purchased a 97 one instead. 91000 miles. Would you know what the timing belt intervals are on these vans?
