2.0HDi Hot starting issue

Hi,

We have a 53 plate Partner 2.0HDi with the Siemens ecu. Its just started playing up starting when hot. It turns over but doesn't always start.

I've done a bit of reading and I know that the fuel rail needs to be up to pressure before the injectors will fire. I'm assuming that the pumps are OK - because it starts fine when cold and runs fine once started.
(has 103K miles on clock, timing belt/tensioners/etc changed at 96K)

So I'm wondering about electrical issues/relays/switches? Is there a common fault?

unfortunatly I'm 250 miles away from home, so if anyone can suggest a decent specialist near Nutley in Sussex that would be handy.
