Default 05 expert panel desplay for warning lights

I just replaced all the dash board lights in the warning lights/speedo/clock

once i turned the ignition on a big red stop light flashes and the air bag light is on.

I have driven the van for a month with no problems bar replacing the exhaust. i know the gear box is iffy and i think the clutch is needing some more fluid. that is not the problem yet.

the problem is figuring out the cause of the red 'stop' flashing. my hunch is the air-bag plug is not on. reason = previous owners hate new mechanics with electronics managing the vehicle. the van used to have security lights (orange flashers) and an intercom like CB radio. so there are 2 extra circuits drawing from the fuse box too. also, a yellow plug underneath hood release lever is looking like an original part - that is for airbag? . what i could do with a manual to download...

please help?
