Hi
I have a question about the display How many icons does this show when you press "menu"? Can it show 5 including "air con" and "bluetooth" or telephone? Also, before configuration, how many icons does it show? Thanks |

Hello.
1. Menu does not work without configuration as it is brand new. 2. It will show as much, I suppose, as much equipment there are in your car installed by factory. However, you need to activate every item with Peugeot/Citroen software. 3. It only shows clock when installed. Configuration takes about 25 minutes. Thank you for your enquiry, Ed. |

I do not know how to activate the functions as all the work has been carried out by a Peugeot service guy with Original equipment. Before going to Peugeot garage we tried to activate it with PP clone, but that guy only knew how to do automatic config and it did not work. Therefore, I went to Peugeot and there was told that display must be activated manually (not an automatic configuration which I suppose you are looking at).
In automatic config there were only selections: single a/c and dual a/c. When I replaced display in my car (Pug 407), with exactly same one, I could see only clock. After configuration I now have audio controls, trip computer, a/c and display functions as I have an S (basic) model. You can be sure it works great, but it has to be configured manually. Not sure what that means, you have to ask Peugeot guys who know their stuff. Hope that helps, Ed. |

Today I finally got the time to tinker a bit with the car.
Out came the old display and in went the new.. wait.. no it didn't.. The plug is in the wrong end of the display - there is no way the cable can reach.. ok, I'll hook it up to get i coded and see how it looks like, if it works I can extend the cables a bit. But it is not possible to code the display at all. I tried a clone interface with Planet2000, a genuine interface with PLanet2000. A clone with Diagbox and finally a genuine with Diagbox. I even tried automatic teleincoding, and manual teleincording. So now I have a display that does not fit the 407, and is not able to code. :/ What car does it come from? It is not from a 407.. |
