Default vtr injectors ????

i have been told that if i was to put vtr injectors in my 206 1.4 8v Quicksilver it would give it more bhp? but would it be that simple? is there anybody that could tell me if this is true or not and what else if any thing i would need to do? any info on this would be appreciated thanks

Just replacing injectors is not going to give you anymore BHP. Would be nice if it did. The ecu will inject fuel into the engine by adjusting the pulse duration to the injectors based of feed back from various sensors about the engine conditions. Jus changing the injectors is not going to get you more fuel that simple. If the injectors give more fuel per m/s of pulse duration all you will do is make the engine run rich. You would need to get more air in to get the engine for the ecu to respond by injecting more fuel by altering the pulse duration to the injectors.

They're probably the same injectors!
Waste of time.

the diffrence is minimal..unless you use the 1.6 VTR injectors.

But why do you want to place bigger injectors? your not building a turbo on it, or using a very agressive camshaft... the only thing i read is that you've installed a K&N 57i kit and maybe in the future are getting a remap. bigger injectors are very overdone with your setup, and will only cause you problems.

if you'll use your normal injectors the injectors wil spray in to the combustion chamber and mix properly to the oxygen witch wil give you a good combustion.

If you'll use VTR injectors the injectors wil spray with drops because there to big and will not mix the way it should be and the result is, a black tailpipe and less performance.
