Default V.High Compression + High octane = More power?

Hi guys, bit off the peugeot subject but here goes.

A few weeks ago i asked if high octane fuels really make as much difference as they claim to do on my 1.4 petrol 306. I got the answers i was expecting and that was that high octane is only good for high compression engines and ecu's that can recognize the higher octane fuel. The point of this thread is to ask about another motor of mine. by trade i am a landscaper. laying patios and drives mainly. One of the most important of the tools i use is a Partner K650 cut off saw. It Runs a 71 cc 2 -stroke engine. I recently fitted a brand new cylinder, piston, bearings and gaskets after which The compression tested so high at 180 - 185 psi over 3 tests that it is almost impossible to turn over without use of the decompression valve. it always starts first pull and runs perfectly. just for abit of fun i was wondering if that with the use of high octane fuel in this engine i would notice much difference?

ANY response to this would be fantastic! Cheers guys!
