I'm wondering what the deal is with these?
There are loads of fairly nice looking ones on Ebay ranging from £30-£60 which seems too cheap. In the small print it says something about needing additional pipework to fit. Anyone got one of these on the car? Is it just a case of butchering them to fit on the back or are they cheap and nasty? PS) Happy Xmas!

I would run a mile from Ebay tat. It's cheap for a reason. No matter what is stamped on it, if it isn't hushty quiet as the OE pipes you're commiting an offence.
There should be plenty out there for your car, and the likes of Powerflow do bespoke stuff at a price. They can then engineer a nice tone which shouldn't get you in trouble with the law. TBH though, unless you're prepared to bin the cat or replace it with a high flow type it's very little return for a major outlay.

Thanks for the reply Chop.
I'm not bothered about an increase in bhp or even the sound. It's just for aesthetics, and yes I did have to spell check that. Maybe i should just stick a £8 exhaust trim on the end. |

Pug do an SP accessory trim. It's expensive, £50 or more, but cheaper than an new zorst.
