Hi there I am new to the forum so please be gentle with me!!
I was scanning the internet for tuning goodies for my newly aquired 307 1.6 16v 52 plate and I saw an ad for Tuning Wizards. They claim their little device can deliver 40 bhp and increased MPG when set on the economy setting. All for under £40.Is this too good to be true??Does anyone have one and are they any good. Many thanks Martin |

These sorts of things work best on diesels. I had one on a '03 hdi 110 and it probably gave me 20bhp more and an extra 5 mpg. TOPS! This is set to mid range. No way in hell you could get an extra 40 horse AND improved mpg on a 1.6 petrol. I'd hazard a guess at 5bhp and 2-3 mpg.

And it'll slaughter the cat on a petrol car.
