Default To the ECU mappers......

Hi,

52 reg 406 glx estate 2.0 hdi 110. I'm in Herne Bay, Kent.

I bought a KWP2000 kit and tried to flash the ECU. This worked for a few maps but none of them were perfect... then unfortunately on the last map the computer crashed therefore buggering up the ECU. I can't write the old file onto the ECU (I'm guessing) as it can't read a valid file there to delete first. I bought another ECU and hoped that I could flash my old map onto it but it doesn't seem to be working....

Based on the above are any of you ECU tuners able to put a new tuning/eco map on which will also enable my car to then work!

If so, can this be done by sending the ECU in the post or does this need to be done via OBD?

And.... who can do it the cheapest for me! The cars starting to cost me money....

Thanks,

Daniel

I should be able to redo the ecu by reprogramming it, do you want it as std or do you want a mapped file put on instead??

Hi,

I guess if I'm paying to have it done I may as well have a tuned map put on. The best price I've been given so far is £150 for a postal remap.... The most expensive £500!!!

Thanks,

Daniel
