Morning all,
Since my turbo has gone or believed to have gone, could I put on another, which could add a bit more power, if so what would you recommend and what might be the prices? Looking at 2nd hand units as my car has done 147000 miles on a 06 plate. Cheers CP |

You would be well advised to fit a turbo that is the same as the one already fitted to it. You don't state whether it's petrol or diesel.
Fitting larger turbos can add to spool up time. Which means that you might increase the maximum power of your engine (which is very seldom used, but looks good on rolling road graphs), but could actually make it less responsive because of increased turbo lag from the larger turbo. |
