hi i have about 30-35 liters, in two cans may sell seperate, of aviation fuel. have been told it will run in an older, hi'er compresion, engine. is a higher octane rating than stadard petrol
looking to sell or swap. cost around 2 quid something a litre so offers. cheers mark 07969023182 |

AVTUR or AVGAS ?? ( No its OK you don't own a jet fighter ) AVGAS at my local Airport on special offer is £1.87 litre if you uplift at least 50 litres & Free Landing fees ....

Avgas is about 111 RON, Bluegas about 119. Avtur for jets is more akin to diesel. More to the point, if you're selling it you gotta pay a fistful of duty and other stuff.

Avgas in the UK is 100LL (low lead) and yes it is about 2quid a litre at the minute.
Jet A1 is like diesel , however does not have any lubricating properties , pumps tend to fail within a short time of using it !
