Since we are all owners (or non-owners) of PUGs and in particular the 407, I would like to hear from you with regards to your experiences with the car. Was there any particular "joys" or "woes" that you have encountered in the onwership of this marvelous car.

Hey J2EE, do you also have a 407?
I Recently bought a 407 HDi 136 SE. I'm only getting 41 MPG on a run, Any other 407 owners out there with similar prob? Another thing is that the engine does not start again immediately after switching off the engine. Peugeot service centre informed me that this is normal, so you have to wait for minutes before starting the engine again. Other than that, this car is excellent!

When you switch off you're supposed to wait 30 secs before re-starting, but mine's ok if I restart it immediately. Agree with you, the 407's a good car |

Hi, I'm from the Dominican Republic.
Are you guys talking about miles per gallon or kilometers per gallon... 41mpg is GOOD The only reason I am not a 407owner is because it has no headroom nor legroom for my huge size... |
