Hi - I've just bought a low mileage 309 (1294 engine) in exceptional condition - and although it's 1989 vintage, in my view it's well worth saving.
Problem: The owner's manual specifically states that unleaded RON95 fuel should NOT be used. But the Haynes manual says unleaded RON95 is ok, and without any ignition adjustment. So - who to believe ? Colin |

Hi Colin
Well I'd probably go with the Haynes advice...I don't know too much about petrol, but I would have thought that the modern unleaded fuels should be ok. Put some in and see if it pinks under load. Cheers Dave
