my rear drum cap is not comin off, the brake shoes are holding it very tightly, do you know any techniques?

What type of car and year?
You could try hitting it with a hammer and see if you can 'shock' it free.If you arent to sure about tackiling thsi job and have the right tools etc,i would leave well alon and get a professional to fix it. Cant be to careful when it comes to fixing brakes.
