Hi
I have a 2002 406 HDI 110bhp and am thinking of switching to biodiesel as there is a filling depot 2 miles from my house. Am fed up of paying 1.09p for diesel. Has anyone tried this or is running it, have done some research and have been told to run 20%, then 50% then 100% changing fuel filter between % as it cleans the tank and fuel lines. Is this correct? Would much rather pay 88.9p for biodiesel. Hope anyone can help? Neil |

My only experiance of bio-diesel is as a bus mechanic. The company has been running on bio-diesel for about a year with no problems. However during a cold spell in december we had problems with several buses of the same type with fuel "waxing" and required the fuel filter changing (we change them at 3 month intervals). We have at the depot that i work had to change the injector pump on 2 buses and the injectors on 2 more so it is upto you
