hello
i own this Peugeot 504 coupe Pininfarina with injection fuel system and recently facing engine problems don't what it is but it's making the car slow. i live in Lebanon and asked many mechanics no one can fix it and parts are not found. my project is to keep the car as original as possible. can anyone help in finding parts for that engine and possible someone to fix it. (maybe only upgrading the injection fuel system) thanks a lot in advance |

IIRC they used off-the-shelf Kugelfischer mechanical injection which shared many of it's components from cars as varied as the Lancia Fulvia and Capri 2.8i.
Identify the nacked part and odds on you'll find one for another car that's the same - just hunting for a part specifically for a 504 is restrictive, but knowing the same part went on x, y and z cars too makes like easier.

You'll need a Kugelfischer manual or tech sheet so you can electrically test components, but it's not difficult once you know the specs.
As the decade wore on the Bosch K-Jet mech injection became the norm, but dome Fiats, Lancias, and even the Capri 2.8- will share many components.
