Default Why do English fans boo John Terry

Was watching the spurs chelsea game last night and every time JT got the ball the spurs fans gave him a shed load of abuse.

I cannot understand this, if England were to go to the Euro Final and even win it, would the same english fans boo him when he lifts the euro cup.....?

If he is, how is this going to be proven?

One member of the QPR crowd said JT called Anton a (insert whatever you will here). None of the other players, including Ferdinand heard it, or complained about it.

If he did say what he was supposed to have said, I see it more of an observational comment than a rascist remark.

You know what will happen, the courts will 'make' him guilty, he'll be stripped of the armband (again) and we'll end up with Gerrard as captain again (if he actually makes it into the team)

As far has i am concerned all this racist crap has gone to far i am not racist but every little thing now and our ethnic friends cry this when do whites cry racism hardly ever and well when i was young my parents told me

( Sticks and stones my break my bones but words will never hurt me )

Thinkall the do gooders should just grow up and the jibs at Terry at the match in my book makes the supporters as bad if thats the way they want to go.

Come on, come on, come on
lol couldnt resist

but yeah, i agree. it gets very awkward, i know lots of caucasian guys that i just cant stand, and naturaly i dont like to talk to them or be friends, and nobody gives a crap about it. but when its about a person of different ethnicity it gets completely different twist, becuase you cant just not to like them, because then it becomes "oh is it becase he is *insert ehnicity*", and no, no its not. its because he is a mean fecker.

basicaly im saying, if i acted same to all the ethnicities like i do to my caucasian friends, im pretty sure i would be labled a mild racist, whic i assure you, i am not. i lived in fiji for few years, i wouldnt have survived if i was
