Default Taxi rank in whitby

Heres a story that might make some of you laugh and the taxi driver lot angry

anyways i was in whitby on saturday with a few mates, we decided to go for a pizza at the local takeaway. anyways all the parking spaces were full so i decided to park at the out the way in a taxi rank...no taxis at the time were there and wanted to be in. i would of moved if they asked nicely.

so i come out with the pizzas and a taxi driver shouts at me.
"OI F*** WIT, DONT PARK IN TAXI RANKS AGAIN!!!"

my reply
"SHUT THE F*** UP, FAT C***, MAKES A DIFFERENCE FROM YOU LOT PARKING IN BUS STOPS!!"

to that he asks if im a bus driver, i reply and he shuts up. my mates were all wishing they recorded it.

like i say i would of moved if he asked nicely but because his attitude stank i gave it back. hate people talking to me like crap theres a few more stories if your interested.

We get that all the time , but if its out of the way and they don`t stay long we let it go .
Our town is very narrow and the buses and taxi`s get on great , we have to keep traffic flowing or we don`t make money

its dog eat dog here dont get me wrong i get on great with some of the taxi lads its just the few that spoil it for the many...but then again isnt that the same for everything else

i know in the city centre here, if the buses or taxis block traffic the company who they drive for get a fine of nexus. obviously shit rolls down hill so the driver ends up in the bosses office.

Bit different to National Express coach drivers around these parts.... when someone is stopped in their bus stop, they won't stop on the road instead, they sit there blowing the horn and causing a tail back..... definitely gets the point across to the car driver

Someone sent me that link on IRC last night. I can't even begin to think of the excuse that bus driver could give for that.

I must admit though, in my times as a bus driver, there were plenty of times I would have loved to have done that lol

my excuse would be, "he rode into me" that video had people in the depot today laughing and everyone said "how class would that be to do in gosforth...slam them into the park cars instead"

and i dont suffer road rage....just occupational stress
