Just filled up - 1.42 a litre. I've found that drivers are tending to go a bit slower - better MPG - which can only be a good thing. Maybe it's just me, but there don't seem to be as many cars on the road either.
So, it turns out there are benefits to higher fuel costs, it keeps the plebs off the road. Fuel prices ain't coming down - the more it goes up the better it gets on the roads as far as I'm concerned. They should also fine drivers who park their cars on the pavement - they are called footpaths for a reason. We need to do what they do in Japan - you ain't got off road parking - you can't have a car. |

The only vehicles that don't slow down are company vehicles - the driver doesn't give a monkeys about fuel economy because he isn't paying. How wrong he is.

Diesel is around £1.39 a litre, its come down a penny
And if you spend £50 on shopping at Tesco or Morrisons, they give you a 5p per litre off voucher. |

Asda came down to £1.35.7 on Monday ,but our local store Spar was still £1.42.9 ,
it`s a pity they don`t bring it down as quick as they put it up.

Afraid I don't agree.... living where I do, you need to drive, there is just no other way around it.... so penalising us for city-folk which could use other means isn't the right way to go.
