Talking Pease pudding!

hi folks,

heres one that might make ya laugh.

i was at work a couple weeks back now and on bbc3 there was a program called "geordie finishing school". basically these rich lasses came up from london and their mega rich lifestyles to learn what it is like to live in newcastle on the dole. yeah they got a shock to say the least and the program did wind me up as it was bigging out some estate in walker is really bad and its not etc etc.

anyways back at the house they had some pease pudding, they asked "what do we do? do we boil it? fry it? bake it???" they had no idea, to this point i was raging at how stupid they were and shouted at the tv "you put it on a effing ham sandwich you stupid git!" to where my supervisor replies "you northern folk are wierd!" this did make me laugh as he is from leeds and had never heard of pease pudding at all!

is it just me or what?

and another one, trem/jazz/any other member from the north east dont answer this...what is a parmo? (just seeing how popular they are)
