I have a Tom Tom but i bought a Nuvi Sat Nav for the wife , anyone know how to update these for free???????????

i have a Garmin Nuvi 250 or should of said, had
now its a Garmin Nuvi W250. had to send the original back as i started being a funny bugger with the EEPROM (Device software) and well long story short...the technical term was "its fucked" well anyways i updated mine all the time...for free hint...check torrent sites for the latest europe maps, download the garmin mapping software...connect your garmin and sync...done

from what i understand, just download the new maps and sync...just like garmins
theres plenty of info out there
