help me find a song name and artist

hi folks,

just a really random one, i was hopeing someone may know the song name and artist. been trying to find it for some time now.

anyways i will know if it is right when i hear it.

basically it begins with a background sound of the news, informing of all sorts but the main one was a plane crash/or some sort of crash.

the lyrics go on to say about a guy waiting at an airport or something and he sees the news etc.

its old, about 60s-80s maybe.

like i say a random one, if you got any ideas just ping the song names to me and ill let you know.

whay i found it, on one of my dads CD's

artist: simon and garfunkel
song: seven o'clock news/silent night

Ill post a torrent if anyone is interested in simon and garfunkel
