Default Garmin sat nav

Just bought one of these from Argos.

Very dangerous piece of kit - I look at the sat nav and not the road.

you get used to it being there. whereabouts have you put it on the windscreen (apart from the inside Betty )

I prefer mine in the bottom right rather than stuck in the middle, seems less in the way there and mines switched on about 9 hours a day.

Centre just above the original display pod.

It's the 1310 model - googled some good reviews so thought what the heck I'll have one of them.

Never used a sat nav system before - I'm impressed.

I have an old TOMTOM one, but have customised it with lane assist & Iqroutes.

It sits just to the right of centre as all the wires for that, blackberry & Ipod run behind the centre and out side of the top vent.

I only use it for speed camera data now though. I use google maps on the blackberry for nav as it's much better at traffic avoidance.
