Default Dentists

I've finally decided to go private.

I'm currently with the NHS, it's difficult to get time of work, but never the less I booked an appointment. I turned up at the agreed time - place full of screaming kids, plebs, layabouts - you name it. I waited for half an hour before another pleb wanders in off the street and is seen ahead of me. I just walked out.

If you work you pay 90% of the cost anyway - so I'm going private - they see you at the time they say they will - as the benefits brigade can't afford to pay the fees.

The last time I did see an NHS dentist - she looked about 12 years old. What a bloody shambles. I want my NI contributions back please Mr. Cameron.

About piggin time we had a major shake up of the benefits system.

I'm seriously considering going BUPA as well.

And after all that we hear in the news protest against an idea of capping the benefits to £500/wk.... I work full time and don't take home £500/wk

haha, im yet to register for doctors or dentist, since leaving the RAF.

But this saying made me laugh. when i was in the RAF i just walked into dentists and doctor surgeries and pretty much walked from the reception into the surgery, no waiting.

this got one guy angry in whitby, i was going for a checkup at the dentist, pretty much sat down and the nurse said my name...he went mental saying he has been sat there for over and hour and not been seen and mentioned that i just walked in and get seen...she pointed out the fact that im in the forces and get priority over him (probs on benefits) he was soon quiet.

The benefits system is way out of hand, people make a living out of it. Like jm says it takes the p out of working folks.
