Pissed off today as our parent company declined my request for 3 additional monitors to join my current 3 citing no specific reason.

By the very nature of what we do here 3 isn't enough, not if you want to work efficiently and certainly not if your capable at multitasking!

Apparently my desktop (see below) is acceptable, this is a typical day mind you, it can be much worse!

haha looks like fun dealing with that...luckily for me if i ask for more computer equipment i ask the UK and US and with a simple explanation of why i get it....more from the US side though, the UK are saving the pennies.

at my work place we have 4 monitors on just one gui and we have a few of those guis

Why you can't have more monitors is ridiculous.... for the cost nowadays of monitors they're pennies to these big companies. For me, what I ask for I get.... asked specifically for bluetooth adaptor in laptop (believe it or not, its not standard), get all the latest software updates as soon as they come in, even got my RAM upped from 2GB to 4GB which cost them £200, all due to one programme not having enough with the 2GB

Yeah, we're a software company specialising in flight planning systems, specifically for Monarch Airlines, Ryanair and Airbus specifically, can be a right bitch of a job sometimes as we have to work with pretty old code and languages!

:P - there's nothing shown that you couldn't get elsewhere, except perhaps a bit of native pascal code on the left.

Which was written for Real/32 Multiuser DOS, so it wont do you much use!
