This deserves 8/10 - a rip roaring action packed adventure. Primarily filmed in the 'cloverfield' style following a group of hard ass marines as they try to recover a bunch of lilly livered civilians from a police station in the heart of LA.

You don't really get a good look at the aliens but that's half the appeal.

Good story line with reasonable special effects.

Considering this movie premiered in the UK last Friday - the cinema was half empty. Not a good sign.

If you like alien invasion movies this is the one - but 'Skyline' does pip it at the post.

Battle LA is much better than I thought it was going to be and a lot better than Skyline. Skyline would have been great if it wasn't for the acting & barmy ending.

Managed to watch "Due Date" the other night , laughed a few times at that
