Hi Windy1603. Please I need your help. I can't send a private message to you as I am new. If you send me a private message, will I be able to reply to it? or if you can send me an email to laolu247@gmail.com that would do. Thank you.

Thanks for your reposes as always. I live in Hertfordshire as well. I would have to remove the car from the garage as I think they are just trying to throw parts randomly at the car. Thanks

It possible the starter has failed but i would not expect battery light to come on. If it was running I do not see how timing jumped. Wolverhampton is to far for me to come as i am based in hertfordshire and also working away in Yeovil at present

Thank you for your prompt response. I have not been able to do the below as the car is in the garage. The garage said the start motor has failed and also the timing has jumped and would need to change some plugs/fuse but still, they said they are not sure if other problems would arise after doing this (that does not sound confident) and would not want to spend so much on new parts with the issue not fixed. Is this something you might be able to look at if I request for your service? It took them a whole day to come to this conclusion. I feel this might be a very simple issue rather than the expensive new parts that has been quoted for or anyone you can recommend. Thanks

I would look at battery or alternator as first check. Check if keys are programmed by turn on ign then switch off and leave keys in ign if beeps when door open keys are being detected and are still programmed

I seemed not to be able to send a private message.
I have only joined this forum today.
I am wondering if I could get any diagnostic help for my Peugeot 2008 207 Sport 1.4 (95BHP).
I recently purchased this car and I was driving from Wolverhampton to home, 11 minutes to get home the car stopped and would not turn over or better still tries to but would not. After a while, it went to the economy mode and a battery icon flashing on the dashboard.
Although, while driving, I could hear some bleeping sound but I did not know the reason and I could see some sort of fault displaying on the dashboard monitor.
Is there any help you can render from your wealth of experience? Thank you.

People in similar situation claimed this has to do with immobiliser fault or reprogramming the keys, presently I have to physically unlock the car manually as the key fob does not work, so Iím not really sure. The RAC guy could not find anything.
