Hi I've read somewhere that you have a Peugeot Planet. I got 308 SW 2009 and recently replaced my seats and door panels for full leather set. Front seats are heated and new door panels got lights. All been connected but not sure about missing fuses or activation via Planet as both new functions not working. I'm in Bradford too, can we meet somewhere?

    Hey,

I've seen quite a few of your posts on issues with the 307 key fobs, and also offers to supply replacement keys. Is this something you still do?

If so, what would you charge to supply a key fob PCB for a 56 plate 307 [ill send over the vin if its something you can do]? I brought a car on eBay for my daughters first and it had a few electrical niggles, most I have solved with a BSI reset but still have an issue with the key where it only works right next to / in the car. I've tried a replacement battery and also soldering the battery connections to the PCB itself, but there looks to be a dry joint on the actual transponder. It could prob be repaired, but I only have one, so wondered what it would cost just to get a new one? I dont need the actual key cutting, just plan to replace the PCB in my current shell with a new one.

    Many thanks,
    Simon

ive browsed these forums, and you seem to be the person who knows his stuff..

any chance you can help me find a fault with my lights..

all lights were working fine, except my drivers rear tail light. the break light part of the bulb was fine..

replaced bulbs anyway, and got a new cluster. all worked fine except the rear tail light.

swapped the light clusters around from right to left, and the cluster and bulb holder were all fine on the opposite side, and again the opposite good cluster tail light didnt work on the drivers side.

a friend did a temp bridge for me for the MOT , all lights worked perfect, including the annoying rear right tail light....this was until the van was put on the shaker plates, then all my side lights stopped working...

ive removed the BSI and it looks good, no burning on it, no bad solder smells, its as clean as a whistle...all fuses are good..im at a complete loss..

    Hello there,
You done some work for me not last year but the year before that, you fixed a com2000 unit for me, still working and going strong, i'm after some other work now.

I have had an issue with my 307 after a flat battery, just trying to find out how to fix it, I have found that my BSI is showing as blank, now I think i need to reprogram it, but from what i have read it needs to be a virgin, can you virgin it for me? if so how much?

Hi, I understand that you may be able to supply a key fob with pcb and matched transponder for my 307 SW for about 50 quid or so. I made the mistake of changing the fobs on my thumbnail damaged keys not realising that the transponder was mounted seperately from the board. Of course the old fobs are now in landfill!

I restore classic Saabs so all this electronic stuff is just mumbo-jumbo to me, I tried the BSI reset sequence but as there is no feed to the injectors and everything else seems fine including levels, battery CCA readings, fuel pressure etc, I can only assume that it ain't recognising the key. I presume you will need my VIN, it is VF33HRHSB82899585. Let me know if you can help this aging Luddite, if you need to call me my number is 07958 021176 and my name is Dieter (my mums fault, she was German) regards, D.
