hi mate...the two people to speak to about this issue are john h and jazz jph...these two have had these displays in pieces to put led's in and have made a write up about it too....im sure if you pm one of these two they will be more than happy to help...my 2p worth...i think your problem is sonething to do with the pvc film behind the display...i may be wrong but i hope this helps a little....
