I have a 206cc that had a power steering leak. Took it to a recommended mechanic who said he'd look at it after I power washed the underside to get the oil off. Did that. Now I get the "antipollution" fault on the display when the engine starts and the EML constantly on. Runs ok, and ironically, no more power steering leak despite not taking it back for him to look at, but how do I get rid of the message/eml light..? I'm in Fife and would welcome any help.
ADS I'm a newbie to the site but have read many of your posts and in particular low boost related stuff. I have a 2009 308 1.6 THP 175 and have P0299, P 2261 and P2262. I have removed the BOV and the plastic is V brittle and there's the tel tale white ring you mentioned in your posts. I have ordered a replacement but also want to remove the pressure control valve and attempt a clean however I cant locate it for love nor money. Can you help please. Many thanks in advance.
Hi, i have a 407 coupe with many faults, just recently the ESP/ASR warning came on, Was wondering if you still carried diagnostics. I live in Dunfermline so can come to you or you can come to me at any time.
I have bought a Peugeot Partner Tepee 1.6 HDi Diesel (2013). It was fine for one day and then I got message on dash about somethin to do with DPF amd then I noticed car lost power and wont go above 40 miles on hill roads. I noticed black smoke on the back of the car bumper just above exhaust. Now engine light and amber triangle lights are on and i get message of engine fault when I start car. I read on Peugeot website that I need to take it on motorway n drive over 50 miles speed in 4th gear if service light is on. But they say if service light and engine lights both are on then this wont help and ill have to contact dealer. Inwas wondering if anyone coule help as I just spent alot to buy this car a week ago so cant spend anymore to give to dealer. Any advices, suggestions would be much appreciated. Please help. Thanks
