Maybe the jets are bunge up. Get the sewing needle and just clean the jets. You just like slot it in the hole and push it in and out... That sounds rude.

If the pump going, then surely there's a block somewhere. Just thinking if she's run it till it was dry, then maybe some of the crap at the bottom of the bottle was sucked in. Someone will definitely think of something.

I was lucky for my MOT, my washers don't work on bit. Need a new fuse in the engine side of things. But I know the mechanic really well and he passed it straight through for me.

ive been told a little lime and crap can build up....buy some of the ready made stuff from halfords or tescos and some vinegar (the stuff you put on chips) half fill with the ready made and put some vinegar in....leave it over night and attempt the wash again. dont hold hold the stalk overwise you will strain the pump but use in short pulls....do this untill all of it has gone....

also check for punctured or nipped pipes, leading to pressure loss and leaks etc.

Thanks for the tip John and will try that. Could not see any drips of water leaking under the bonnet or around the car,so its gotta be a block there. will drain the pump and start fresh i think.

have you checked the pipes under there are all connected...the pumps going but no water is either a disconnected or blocked pipe or nipple.....cant be anything else...... .... oh and remember that the vinegar is gonna smell rough when you do eventually get it going....
