Question service interval for cam belt 307 diesel

so had to take my car to dealers today with horn problem. i know i have seen the DIY guide for fixing it but didnt want to mess about with the airbag etc. So they gave me a paper with recommendation for repairs. one in particular is a worrying one. they said that the cambelt on my model needs replacing after 7 years (or 96k miles). so i did not agree went home and rang different dealers and they told me 10 years or 90k miles instead. i am bit puzzled. can anyone shed some light on what it actually is the car is 53 plate 307 d turbo 110bhp hdi fap and done 52k miles. cheers

Last d-turbo was a 306 , the 307`s are called Hdi`s and they come in 1.4, 1.6 and 2L.

I learn something new every day , did not know there was a d-turbo , anyway there was talk a belt should be done every 140k or 10 years whatever came first or 96k and 7 years for arduous conditions ie a taxi or all short journey , that help.
