It must have 4 wires or 2 switches with 2 wires each !

You only need the stalk with cruise

However, 2001 307, i doubt it will be pre-wired for cruise, but you can always have a look!
I'll take a look at this. Am I right in thinking that the block under the glovebox is the one with the "red end"?

And the cables from the brake cable should have 4 cables coming from it?

Cheers

Mike

Looking at the brake pedal it would appear there are two black cables coming from it going into a brown connetor that has a red and blue cable coming out of it.

The accelerator and looks to have 4 wires coming from it. Not sure about the clutch.

I take it this means I can't retrofit cruise control?

It's a 51 plate but 2002 registered.

Cheers

I didn't know the glovebox was on the pedals side

Ha! Sorry. From looking at a few pics I've seen people mention cables coming from the brake pedal it's self.

I assumed that if there's two cables coming from the brake cable, there will only be 2 cables at the glovebox end, meaning I don't have the capability. I'll check this tomorrow.

I've read somewhere that if you have ESP then you will have the "red end" box connected.

Can anyone confirm if this this true? As I have ESP.

Cheers
Mike

Bod, I am using a clone with Diagbox V6.01, there is a patch called "Patch DBv6.01 for clone interface by citronel" you can google it, it is working for me.

Cheers I'll look into that.

Although I'm trying to run the PSA Interface Checker and it asks me what language....I click OK, then it just quits

Hey guys, having read through all 32 pages of the thread, I'm still unsure if it's worth me buying a Cruise Control Stalk, and trying to fit it!

I have a 2003 Peugeot 206 with I believe a Siemens ECU. Also, I have a copy of Diagbox with the Lexia Interface.
The options are present in the ECU for cruise control, but I'm unsure about the switches in the pedals that seem to be a necessity. How would I check if I have them? is there an option in PP to Check/test the switches or is it just a case of having to look.

Really appreciate the work gone into making this thread. makes for a good read!

Any advice would be appreciated!

PS: I live down in Cornwall, and if anyone locally needs access to PP, drop me an email, would be happy to help!

Cheers

We had a go at activating Bazzo's CC last night but encountered problems.

First of all there was the ECU setting in PP:

No option to activate.

Then in the BSI configuration, we had four options:

Type 1A CC
Type 1B CC
Type 2 cruise control without limiter
Type 2 cruise control with limiter

Only the second two worked (his CC has the limiter on) but didn't do any controlling.

Now you mention it, I seem to recall the same thing when I installed it, so I right clicked and chose "run as admin" it did the same thing but then the prog. shortcut apeared on desktop, it then ran from there ok, that was win 7 but I dont recall what happened when I installed on xp, I have installed and removed so much in the last couple of weeks my head is going numb.
