Default 'pugsick' put on PLANET, any ideas appreciated please

Hi all, I have this evening been lucky enough to have John (stvstx) kindley give up his time and fault read my car. (John very much appreciated)

The results are below, any suggestions or ideas i would be most grateful...

'PERMANENT FAULTS X 3'=

1, P0183 diesel temp signal open circuit short to positive..

2, P0490 EGR Fault, permanent fault.

3, P2563 Turbo position repeat signal to distant.

'INT. FAULT X 1' =

1, P2562 Turbo position repeat signal valve.

In addition top this John kindly checked the FAP as i am on permanent 'limp' mode (no smutty gags please).

33% loaded filter, Quantity 0.00/
Last regen 1705km.

Any help appreciated,

Yours sincerely a sad sick pug.

Are you out of Eloys fluid by any chance , thats a long gap since last regen ,would think thats why its in LHM.

Can also be a Turbo Solenoid Valve ,common on 2Litre

think eolys just been done, quantity 0.00 does that mean a full tank or not been reset correctly martin? no faults on additive ECU.
also found strange that fap differential pressure read zero at idle and all the way up to 3000 rpm.
there is a vaccum control fault somewhere but i couldn't really have a great look in the cold and dark with a torch

FAP sensor should be reading 5/6 m/bar at idle , maybe a place to start replace sensor ,could be that preventing regen thus going into limpmode , try disconnecting FAP senor it will revert back to 113m/bar so might trigger regen.

Honestly i cannot thank you enough....

I am so relaint on peoples feedback and opinion. My mechanic has washed his hands with the car and the 'engine fitters(mmm)' dont want to know either.

Again thank you (the word doesnt sound enough) i have something to go on.....

I know its not sorted but i have a 'strong' pointer

2000 miles in limp mode (despite various garages) i have a glimmer of hope and trust me its a good sign.

Thank you,

thanks for your input, if i see it again i'll try and reset counters and tell it it has a new FAP. And then Launch it again. no point initialising a regen or forcing one without any eolys in the tank.
it's not very effective for fap cleaning,
It'll be my first time setting the counters.
