Driving a 307 1.6l HDi S 2006 model.
I've driven diesels before and always waited for the pre heater light to go out before starting. On this car the light doesn't come on at all not even a flicker. Is this something to worry about? Car is under warranty but would like some info before I phone so I don't get fobbed off. Cheers, Kev. |

Probably not an issue. The HDi's run low compressions for a diseasel, and the glow plugs often don't activate at all as a consequence, except in bloody cold weather.
