Has anyone tried to hack the PP2000 s/w to work with any other adaptor?
Seems like the Lexia-3 does an awful lot more than we need for MOST pug owners, and is quite a large outlay for some older cars (>10% of the price of my 307 ), but the elm327+free software does not do enough...I've got the knowledge and determination to give it a try, but need a lexia-3 adaptor to get the s/w operational so i can see what is involved; unfortunately there is nobody near me on the planet map ![]() I'd hope to be able to make pp2000 work with a 'standard' elm327 based adaptor; or maybe produce some open source pic code to work directly at the USB level without modifying the pp2000 software. Any offers of a loan unit for a couple of weeks in Suffolk? |

![]() it's a useful, cheap and convenient tool, isn't it? it sells very well, and customers don't have many questions for using that |
