Default Peugeot 206 1.1 injector fault codes - Help !

Any help, advice greatly appreciated -

My son's car - 2001 206 1.1 - has engine management light flashing, won't rev above 2,000 revs. Started doing it saturday - had cambelt changed on Monday as it was due anyway and asked the local garage to plug in diagnostics to check and see if management light was related to cambelt - they printed out the following 5 fault codes but didn't have time to explain when he picked up the car.

it ran fine monday night and all yesterday but on the way home tonight it behaved exactly as on saturday - wouldn't rev / pull above 2,000 revs.

Could anyone explain what the problem is from these fault codes - thanks:

" Code 001
MM48P/MM6LP Injector supply signal 2 short circuit to positive (intermittent fault) ;
MM4P2 Cylinder no 4 injector control short circuit to positive

" Code 002
MM48P/MM6LP Injector supply signal 3 short circuit to positive (intermittent fault) ;
MM4P2 Cylinder no 2 injector control short circuit to positive

" Code 003
MM48P/MM6LP Injector supply signal 1 short circuit to positive (intermittent fault) ;
MM4P2 Cylinder no 1 injector control short circuit to positive

" Code 004
MM48P/MM6LP Injector supply signal 4 short circuit to positive (intermittent fault) ;
MM4P2 Cylinder no 3 cylinder injector control short circuit to positive

" Code 005
MM48P/MM6LP injector supply signal 2 open circuit (intermittent fault)
MM4P2 Cylinder no 4 injector control open circuit

Wiring problem i'll reckon without looking at it.
Check wiring between engine bay fusebox and the injectors.

Thanks - very helpful I'll have a look and see if there is anything obivous - I was beginning to wonder if it might be something like that because the print out showed the same for each injector and that it was intermittent. Might it be water getting into a multi-point connector ? it has been pouring with rain on both occasions now I think about it.

Just had another thought - the gearbox and clutch was replaced about 4weeks ago (selectors went in 1st/2nd) - is that engine out ? and if so could it be a multi pin connector not quite back together tightly? Other thing my son said was a couple of times after that it overheated in traffic as if the electric fan wasn't cutting in. Its an 01 car - done 76,000 and we've had it for 5 years - daughter then youngest son.

The wiring loom passes along the bottom of the airbox bracket ( remove the airbox). Pull the wires out of the conduit and inspect very carefully.
