Default Need Peugeot Planet - Manchester, Bury, Rossendale, Burnley

Hi Guys

I had to swap the ECU and BSI on my 2002 1.4 HDI 206 following my original going faulty. Since the replacement all my original faults are gone but some new ones have appeared as follows (ECU is part number identical to the old one):

Temperature Needle goes straight to RED area and STOP light flashes along with cooling Fans running.
Engine is slow and turbo appears disabled but no Engine Management Light is on.
Radio has a beep sound every few seconds.
Air Conditioning no longer kicks in when the button is pressed.

I have disconnected the coolant sensor and it made no difference to the reading. The needle is straight to RED regardless of the engine being hot or cold and stays there as long as the key is turned to start.

The Sensor is new and worked on the old ecu and bsi no problems

Air from heater is normal and car is defo not overheating in any way.

Does it just need programming and if so who can help me with this in either the Manchester, Bury, Rossendale or Burnley Area

Oh and I know there is a map and have tried it but I can't contact anyone. I would have to post 20 random posts to be allowed to do so and I didn't want to clutter the board.

Many thanks in advance

James

I'm fairly close to Manchester. If you can get to Warrington where I'm currently working for the rest of this week and next week I can have a look.

I also get up to Rochdale to drop off my daughter at weekends but she's on holiday at the moment so I won't be up that way for a few weeks.

Hi Gibbo

Thanks for the response. I could easily get over that way (if somewhat slowly lol) What days/times would you be free and how much would you need to hook it up etc.

Thanks in advance

James

PS Thanks Elma - I will check it out
