indicator stalk problem

hope somebody can help, i have a 2002 peugeot 206 and having some problem with my indicator, I will but my indicator on either right or left and all of a sudden the indicator will stop flashing and the headlights will come on including the dashlight, i am not sure why could it be a switch problem? hope somebody can help me thanks

I would suspect stalk or comm2000
