Hi All,
Am a newbie here, have been reading up loads and have found this site very useful as ive have had some problems with my 307 hdi ... here goes.... I bought my 1st diesel car in Jan of this year, a Peugeot 307 1.6hdi (110bhp) sxi. I own a 300+ bhp Celica GT4 and am a member of GT4OC but when it come down to diesels I know nothing! It looked nice and drove nice at the time and also seemed good value for the money. Recently done a service on it and my mate plugged his code machine in (wish he never had now) only to give me a error list as long as my arm! .... have done some research into what they mean have listed below: P1351 - Pre heating relay circuit P0402 - Air inlet curcuit fault, airflow higher than setting P1728 - Engine torque sent on CAN incorrect P2408 - Additive system fuel tank cap sensor B1012 - Particulate filter max regeneration reached P1586 - Throttle sensor P0113 - Not known P0104 - Not known Also... Sometimes there is a massive power loss from a standing start (like serious turbo lag) then once revs build up (3000) it picks up. Could be related to code P1586? Lots of black soot around the turbo - maybe related to code B1012? The fan come on a lot after a drive around town but the water temp is normal. Poor millage for a diesel, getting about 35 - 37mpg I’ve fitted a K&N panel filter to it, I did have a diesel tuning box but have now removed that. My mate has cleared all of the codes listed above but the only one which he is unable to clear is the Particulate filter max regeneration reached, none of the codes have come back as yet. I have done some reading and research and it seems that owners are removing the pdf pipe and re-mapping to avoid heavy dealer costs. I would also like to do this but am not sure where to start from or where in Birmingham does this so any help would be useful. Thanks, Az |
