Default help or advice changing cylinder head

hi all wondered if anybody could give me and tips or advice.i am slowly trying to repair my wifes 1.1.pug 206 04 plate the cambelt slipped a while ago and damaged the head. i bought a replacement head from ebay which had been reconditioned.i stripped the damaged head off and the valves had been damaged and slighlty marked the pistons. the replacement head i got was from a 2002 pug 206 1.1 and was told by the man i bought it off who said was a mechanic it would fit. ive since put the new head on and all mates up with the block fine but has a slight defference to the old head as the inlet manifold is different, i have got one that will fit from the scrapyard it looks different to the one i had on it is a more square style and connections are in different places i think i have figured what goes where apart from one connecter that has a diffrent end so i think i am just going to swap the connection over so it fits it the plug.the 2nd problem i have is the cambelt sprocket on the new head is bigger than my old one.dose this make a diffrence?it has a larger bolf holding it on so i am not sure if i can swap it for my the one on my old head? as when i went to pull the cambelt over the sprocket it will not go.i know pug do 2 belts one slightly larger with a few more teeth so could i just get the bigger belt?any help would be fantastic and i hope one day to get this car started and out of my garage
thanks steve
