Default Galletto in Nottinghamshire or nearby

Evening all,

Does anyone in either Nottingham(shire) or the surrounding areas have a galletto tool that I could borrow for a few days starting early tomorrow (or even this evening if you're near), pretty please?

I am happy to leave a deposit of the cost of a new one, or even buy it off you if you don't think you'll have use for it. I ordered one off ebay several days ago but sods law strikes...the one thing I need to arrive quickly hasn't done so. I'd like to work on removing the DPF (307 HDi) tomorrow so that it's done before the weekend when I really need the car to be pulling properly on the motorway!

Would very much appreciate this - I'm sure I can rustle together a bottle of something or the other for any hassle

Cheers

grrr, when I got the email notification through I got excited thinking someone had some good news for me...I'm still hoping someone comes through for me Joey so will certainly update the sticky with any progress.

I've been following your posts with some interest - I don't know whether it's a good thing that halfords have inadvertently replaced some expensive bits or a bad thing as you've not had a drivable car, either way I hope you're closer to getting your car sorted!

Anyone got the news I wanna hear...

thought I might as well update this now in case anyone else stumbles upon the thread.

I now have a galletto so if anyone would like assistance with this locally then give me a shout. After years of continuous problems with the DPF, I am soooo glad to have found scotcruz's guide and his kind help to remove it from our 307HDi. I'd be happy to help out if someone else wants to do the same
